In 2016, Naga Lakshmi Dwarapureddi had a dream: to cook for other families the way she cooked for her own. She was a young mother then, so the dream had to wait.
Twenty days after her second son was born, she walked into her first professional kitchen. For years she cooked between the school drop-off and the pick-up, and learned her craft one kitchen at a time. In 2024 she and her husband left Omaha for Atlanta, and ManaVindhu opened.

The dishes change every day. Call us and ask what is on today’s thali.
The name is Telugu: మన means ours, and విందు means a feast. Our cooking comes from Telugu homes: the tang of gongura, biryani sealed and cooked in its own steam, idli and dosa in the morning.
Many of our spices and staples come from farms in India. The rest is patience, and a kitchen that cooks every order fresh.
Guests keep writing the same three things in their Google reviews: no MSG, no artificial colors, no essence. Here are ten reviews, in their own words.

The biryani is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had in Atlanta. The rice is perfectly cooked, the flavors are rich and balanced, and the meat is incredibly tender.

Everyone should try the coriander chicken pulav. Delicious and fulfilling. Have not tasted that flavourful chicken in Atlanta so far.

A lot: mushroom biryanis and pulavs, Andhra Paneer and Kadai Paneer, Karivepaku Babycorn, Jalapeño Gobi, idli, vada, pongal and dosa, samosa and pakoda, and the veg thali.
